Open Day
Held on 6 July 2021, our official open day was a massive success!
Although it was cold (Bendigo in winter - what did we expect!), the turn out was huge.
Team SASS would like to thank all of our participants, staff, networks and guests who made the open day as special as it was.
Our guests had so many activities from breakdancing, circus performances, art lessons, guitar and drum lessons with Josh, camp oven cooking, art classes with Manny, birdhouse making with Greg, vegetable gardening, sports and games in our arena, interaction with our animals and exploring the beautiful bush setting!
Our wonderful staff pulled out all the stops to keep everyone entertained. Emily our BBQ queen kept everyone fed with egg and bacon sandwiches and sausages.
Karl didn't slow down all day giving our participants awesome lessons in breakdancing. Josh belted out the tunes with our participants on the guitar and drums.
Team SASS would like to say a massive thank-you to all our supporters. It really was a special day and we were proud of the experience we have been able to offer to our participants.
