SASS Care is a Bendigo-based, NDIS-registered Disability Support Provider committed to providing personalised, respectful and inclusive support to people with disability.

We offer a range of services designed to support independence, build confidence and help participants stay connected with their community, including:

Community Access – Supporting participants to get out, explore their community, attend activities and enjoy social experiences.
In-Home Care – Providing practical support and assistance in the comfort of your own home.
Domestic Assistance – Helping with everyday household tasks to create a safe, comfortable and well-maintained home.
Personal Care – Providing respectful, person-centred assistance with everyday personal care needs.

Group Activities & Social Connection in Bendigo

At SASS Care, we believe that connection, participation and having fun are an important part of a fulfilling life.

Our group programs provide our participants with opportunities to build friendships, develop confidence, learn new skills and enjoy new experiences in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Ironstone Hill Activity Farm

Located in Jackass Flat, Ironstone Hill Activity Farm is home to our regular group activities for school-aged children.

During the school term, we offer group activities every Saturday, providing children with the opportunity to socialise, participate in fun activities and connect with others in a safe and supportive environment.

During school holidays, our program runs every day, with a different range of activities planned throughout the week.

Activities may include:

Outdoor and nature-based activities
Arts, crafts and creative activities
Farm and animal experiences
Excursions and community outings
Social and group activities
Games, recreational activities and much more

Our school holiday program is designed to give children the opportunity to try new things, build independence, develop social skills and, most importantly, have fun and make memories.

Women of SASS

Women of SASS is a welcoming social group for NDIS participants aged 18 and over. It’s a great opportunity for women to meet new people, make friends, learn new skills and enjoy fun experiences together in a supportive environment.

Our group activities include:

Arts, crafts and creative activities
Cooking and baking
Social catch-ups and group activities
Outings and community excursions
Trying new activities and experiences
Building friendships and social connections

Whether you enjoy getting creative, cooking up something delicious, exploring the community or simply spending time with others, Women of SASS is a place to connect, have fun and feel included.

All Ages and Abilites Dance Group

SASS Care is proud to offer an inclusive All Abilities Dance Group in Bendigo, in partnership with The Entertainers Performing Arts Studio.

Classes are held every Friday from 4:00pm to 5:00pm, providing a safe, welcoming and supportive environment where participants can enjoy music, movement and creative expression.

Our classes are designed to be accessible and adaptable to suit all abilities, with activities tailored to support each participant to participate in a way that works for them.

The All Abilities Dance Group provides an opportunity to:

Enjoy music, movement and dance
Build confidence and self-expression
Meet new people and develop friendships
Learn new skills in a supportive environment
Increase participation and community connection
Have fun and stay active

Supporting Melbourne Communities

SASS Care has been proudly providing disability support services across Melbourne since our inception. Many of our dedicated Support Workers have been with us since day one, building strong and lasting relationships with the participants and families we support.

We provide services across Melbourne’s South Eastern suburbs, from St Kilda through to Cockatoo, as well as across the North Eastern suburbs including Mernda and surrounding areas.

Our services include:

Daily living assistance
In-home support
Social activities and outings
Personalised support based on individual needs
