SASScare is owned and managed by a local Bendigo Family
with over 40 years' experience providing Disability Services.
At SASScare, we are committed to providing personalised, person-centred disability support that puts every participant at the heart of their NDIS journey. As a trusted Bendigo-based disability support provider, we build genuine relationships with participants and families, taking the time to understand individual needs, goals, preferences and aspirations.
Unlike larger disability service providers, SASScare offers responsive, flexible and individualised support, helping NDIS participants maintain choice and control over the supports they receive. Our experienced support team delivers quality NDIS services designed to promote independence, confidence, wellbeing, social inclusion and community participation.
We support people to achieve their NDIS goals and live life on their terms, with services tailored to their individual circumstances. From everyday support and community access to capacity building, social participation and specialised disability programs, our focus is always on delivering respectful, reliable and empowering care.
Serving Bendigo, Melbourne and Regional Victoria, SASScare is passionate about making a meaningful difference through practical, compassionate and participant-focused disability support. Our Story
SASScare was founded by Sharron Andrea in 2017 to address gaps in the NDIS service landscape, with a commitment to providing high-quality, person-centered care. Sharron brings extensive experience in supporting vulnerable individuals and is dedicated to tailoring services to meet each participant's unique needs.
Our team includes staff with over 40 years of experience in the disability sector, many of whom have been with SASScare since its inception in 2017. This long-term dedication is a testament to the supportive and rewarding environment we offer.
At SASScare, every NDIS participant is assigned a dedicated Care Coordinator to help manage funded supports and select experienced, friendly staff. While other providers may come and go, SASScare remains a stable, genuine option for those who need it most.
SASScare’s growth has included the development of Ironstone Hill Disability Activity Farm in Jackass Flat, Bendigo, providing inclusive disability activities, NDIS support and community participation opportunities for children, young people and NDIS participants of all ages.
Ironstone Hill offers weekend and school holiday programs for school aged NDIS participants, with engaging activities designed around individual interests, abilities and NDIS goals. Participants can enjoy animal care, arts and crafts, sports, bushwalking, outdoor activities, bush cooking and more in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.
We also provide flexible 1:1 disability support and community access for NDIS participants of all ages, allowing participants to choose when they attend and what activities they participate in. Our qualified disability support workers work alongside each participant to promote choice and control, independence, confidence, social participation and skill development.
As we look to the future, we remain committed to embracing changes in both the NDIS, ensuring that we continue to provide the high-quality, personalised services that our participants deserve.
